ABIX Summary
The Australian Government will give all first and second year apprentices under 30 years of age a tax-free, $A1,000 wage "top up". Also, apprentices will receive up to $A500 each year without an age restriction towards their TAFE or other training fees. These two measures will commence on 1 July 2007.
